The inset schematic in the upper left hand corner of the drawing below shows the use of six (6) U-Bend 
Transfer Panels previously discussed (see insert in upper left corner or U-Bend Transfer Panels in a Pharmaceutical Process) as the means of providing CIP Supply and Return connections and Product Transfer connections to and from three Mixing Tanks.  The isometric shows the means of fully automating the three tank CIP operations and the three transfer line CIP operations by use of four mixproof valves per vessel, in combination with four conventional compression (or diaphragm) shut off valves.
